     Tilley Blakeslee was born on 10 June 1728 in Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut.2 He was the son of James Blakeslee and Thankful Upson.1 He married Hannah Alling, daughter of Ebenezer Alling and Mercy Mix, on 24 April 1751 in Waterbury.3 He began military service on 30 November 1755 in the French and Indian War, in Benjamin Hinman's 6th Company. He reenlisted in 1756 and 1757.4 He began military service in June 1776 in the Revolutionary War. He was a lieutenant in Gay's Regiment. He was active on October 5th. He appeared on the census of 1790 in Woodbury.5 He died before 28 November 1810 in New Haven.6
