Gideon Loxton was born on 28 February 1800 in Coxley, Wells, Somersetshire, England.¹ He was baptized on 3 March 1800 in St. Cuthbert's, Wells.¹ He married Mary Sayer on 12 February 1827 in Wells.² Gideon and Mary appeared on the census of 1841 at Cuthbert Street, Wells.³ He was a gardener before 27 August 1843.⁴ He died on 27 August 1843 in Wells at age 43.⁵ He was buried after 27 August 1843 in Wells.
