     Harriet Rean was born on 20 July 1823 in Basford, Nottinghamshire. She was the daughter of Samuel Rean and Sarah Offler. She married Samuel Columbine on 29 June 1846 in Radford.1 She was listed along with her son Samuel as a resident in Samuel Rean's household in the census report in 1851 in Radford. William Page is listed as a visitor.2 She died on 24 October 1883 in Needham, Massachusetts at age 60.
