     David Burt Sr. was Farmer. He was born on 15 August 1771 in Norton. He married Experience Makepeace, daughter of William (5) Makepeace and Ruth Hunt, on 7 November 1793 in Norton.1,2 He "lived several years after their marriage, in Norton, and then moved to Barre. He was a farmer, and a very honest and industrious person."3
