The historian notes that: 'Tradition could not supply the missing links, and nearly every one of the worthy people who were busy actors in the scenes of the era named, have passed from time to eternity, and the tomb cannot be invaded for needed facts.'" He appeared on the census of 1800 in Hartford.12 He married Mary Leach on 4 December 1806 in Hartford.13 He appeared on the census of 1810 in Hartford.14 He appeared on the census of 1820 in Hartford.15 He died on 27 February 1838 in New Haven, Connecticut.16,17,18
